Using Trace Parser

Installation & Configuration

- Install Trace Parser from AX instalations:
- Add your user to Performance Log Users user group.
Otherwise you should get following error message starting Tracing cockpit in AX Tools: "To capture traces the AX client must be running with a Windows Account that has administrative privileges or is part of the Performance Log Users group.".
- Log off and log in again to apply new security settings.
- Start Trace Parser application and register new database (it is not AX related, Trace Parser will store data here)

Usage

- AX -> Tools -> Trace Cockpit
- Start Trace, choose file to save tracing data
- Make required actions in AX and Stop trace.
- Start Trace Parser application and import trace from file.

At the end you may get something like that:
